The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced that the Assistant Professor (College Education Department) Examination-2025 will be conducted as per the pre-decided schedule. A total of 574 posts across 30 subjects have been advertised, and more than 20,000 candidates have already applied online.
The online application process began on September 20, 2025, and the last date is October 19, 2025 (till midnight). Offline applications will not be accepted. Details regarding eligibility criteria, category-wise classification, application procedure, and other relevant information are available on the Commission’s official website.
This recruitment has been re-advertised after the cancellation of the earlier notification issued on December 13, 2024, due to major amendments in service rules. Consequently, the 1,70,664 applications received under the previous advertisement have been rendered invalid. Hence, all interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria must apply afresh under the new advertisement, even if they had applied earlier.
Exam to be held as per schedule
According to the Commission’s Secretary, the previous advertisement dated December 13, 2024, was withdrawn on September 18, 2025, due to the introduction of minimum qualifying marks in the service rules. On the same day, a fresh advertisement was issued for the same posts with no change in the number of vacancies. Therefore, the exam will still be conducted as per the pre-decided schedule, i.e., from December 1 to December 24, 2025. Notably, these dates had already been notified in the Commission’s exam calendar released on December 31, 2024.
