A delegation of CEOs and representatives participating in the India AI Impact Summit 2026 called on the Vice President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, at the Vice President’s House. The interaction focused on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reshaping the global work landscape and unlocking new avenues of opportunity.
The delegates highlighted AI’s potential to drive structural transformation across critical sectors such as healthcare, education, and employment. They noted that India is uniquely positioned to benefit from large-scale AI-driven innovation and deployment. The delegation also expressed appreciation for the continued support of the IndiaAI Mission in fostering a robust and collaborative AI ecosystem in the country.
Describing the summit as expansive and impactful, the representatives said it showcased the talent, innovative thinking, and forward-looking solutions emerging from young minds across India. They also discussed practical, citizen-centric AI applications, including the use of AI-powered real-time language translation in parliamentary proceedings to enhance accessibility, efficiency, and inclusivity in governance.
Vice President Radhakrishnan emphasized that AI enhances precision, simplifies processes, and delivers meaningful societal benefits. Expressing strong optimism about the future of AI, he stated that the technology will not only transform existing roles but also create entirely new employment opportunities.
He further remarked that India’s hosting of the AI summit is a significant initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, positioning the country as a key player in the global AI landscape and as a major driver of transformation in healthcare, education, and good governance.
