In a major crackdown against illegal mining and unauthorized transportation of minerals in the Aravalli mountain range, the Jaipur district administration on Monday seized 16 vehicles, including two excavator machines. The action was carried out under the directions of Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni as part of an ongoing joint enforcement अभियान.
According to Mining Engineer Shyam Chaudhary, coordinated teams of the district administration, Mining Department, and Police Department conducted simultaneous operations across multiple police station jurisdictions. The drive aimed to exercise strict control over illegal mining activities and unlawful mineral transportation in the ecologically sensitive Aravalli region.
During the operation, two excavator machines and three tractor-trolleys were seized while they were engaged in illegal mining of building stone in village Bawdi, under Kalwar tehsil in the Khoda Vishal police station area. In the Shivdaspura police station limits, one dumper transporting gravel illegally and two tractor-trolleys involved in the illegal transport of building stone were seized.
Further seizures were made in the Kotkhawda police station area, where two tractor-trolleys carrying building stone illegally were confiscated. In the Phagi police station jurisdiction, one tractor-trolley involved in illegal mineral transportation was seized. In the Mokhampura police station area, two tractor-trolleys transporting gravel illegally and one tractor-trolley carrying building stone were also confiscated.
Additionally, under the ongoing campaign against illegal mineral transportation, one tractor-trolley transporting building stone illegally was seized in the Galta Gate police station area, while another tractor-trolley carrying gravel illegally was confiscated in the Khoda Vishal police station area.
