In a coordinated statewide crackdown, Madhya Pradesh Police have arrested multiple accused involved in theft and railway property crimes, recovering stolen goods worth over ₹37.4 lakh, reinforcing efforts to protect public assets, religious places, and private property.
Railway Theft Case Solved in Panna
Police in Devendranagar uncovered a theft at a railway station building under the Nagod–Khajuraho railway project in Phulwari village. Stolen items including cables, wires, PVC pipes, and electrical equipment worth about ₹20 lakh were successfully recovered following swift police action.
Three Theft Cases Cracked in Vidisha
Civil Lines Police, using intelligence inputs and technical evidence, solved three separate theft cases, arresting two accused. Recovered items included a stolen Bolero pickup vehicle, temple crown and canopy, and electric cables, with total seized property valued at around ₹9.2 lakh.
Temple Theft Solved in Shajapur Using 600+ CCTV Footages
In Mohan Badodia police station limits, police cracked the theft at Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in Jawadi village by analyzing over 600 CCTV footages, cyber cell support, and technical evidence. Two main accused and one receiver of stolen goods were arrested. Police seized silver ornaments, cash, a motorcycle used in the crime, and sharp weapons, totaling ₹4.2 lakh.
Quick Breakthrough in Sehore Jewellery Shop Theft
In Ashta, police solved a jewellery shop theft case involving an employee who stole about 1.39 kg of silver ornaments. The accused was arrested and 1.359 kg silver jewellery worth nearly ₹4 lakh was recovered.
