Bikaner, Rajasthan: The Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has reportedly recovered a total of Rs 2.43 crore during an ongoing investigation in Bikaner, according to information circulating in connection with the agency's recent operation.
Sources indicate that the action is linked to an alleged extortion network that came under scrutiny following investigations into fake fertilizer and seed-related cases. The operation has reportedly brought former Rajasthan State Seeds Corporation nominated director Jugal Kishore Bishnoi and some of his associates under the scanner.
The ACB conducted searches at multiple locations under the supervision of senior officials. Reports suggest that cash worth around Rs 1.30 crore was recovered from a location in Bikaner, taking the total seizure in the case to Rs 2.43 crore.
Investigators are also examining possible links with a Gujarat-based company as part of the wider probe. The operation was reportedly carried out under the directions of Rajasthan DGP Govind Gupta, with senior ACB officers leading the searches.
The sizeable cash recovery has triggered political and administrative discussions in the state, with questions being raised about the source of the funds and whether any influential individuals may have extended protection to the alleged network.
ACB officials have not yet publicly disclosed the complete findings of the investigation. Further details are expected as the probe progresses and authorities verify the origin of the recovered money and the alleged connections involved in the case.
Note: The allegations mentioned above are based on claims contained in the circulated report/image. The investigation is ongoing, and official conclusions have not yet been announced by the ACB.
