Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Holds Review Meeting on Law and Order
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma chaired a high-level meeting to review the law and order situation across Rajasthan. He instructed the police to take strict action against criminals and ensure that citizens feel safe.
During the meeting, officials informed the CM that more than 1,200 accused involved in serious crimes had been arrested over the past month. The CM appreciated the efforts of the police and emphasized the need for quick investigation and transparent trials.
Gang of Vehicle Thieves Busted in Jaipur
The Jaipur Police successfully busted a gang involved in vehicle theft. The accused used to steal cars and bikes from different parts of the city and sell them in nearby districts. The police have arrested four suspects and recovered 12 stolen vehicles.
According to Additional DCP (Jaipur South) Ramesh Singh, the gang was active for the last few months. A case has been registered under relevant sections, and further interrogation is underway.
24-year-old Woman Found Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances in Ajmer
A 24-year-old woman was found dead in her rented accommodation in Ajmer’s Ghooghra area. Police suspect suicide, but family members allege foul play.
According to the police, the woman’s body was found hanging from the ceiling fan. A suicide note has not been recovered. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is in progress.
Two Youths Injured in Firing Incident in Jodhpur
Two young men were injured in a firing incident that took place late Tuesday night in Jodhpur’s Soorsagar area. The firing reportedly happened after a dispute between two groups over a property issue.
Both injured have been admitted to the hospital, and their condition is said to be stable. Police teams have been deployed in the area to prevent any further clashes.
Bikaner: Farmer Dies Due to Electric Shock While Working in Field
A farmer in Bikaner district died after being electrocuted while irrigating his field. The incident occurred near Kolayat village when the farmer accidentally came in contact with a live wire.
Police reached the spot, and the body was handed over to the family after post-mortem. Authorities have ordered an investigation into the cause of the electrical leakage.
Nagaur: 5 Arrested for Illegal Liquor Trade
In Nagaur district, police have arrested five people for illegally transporting country-made liquor. About 150 liters of illicit liquor were seized from them.
SP Vikas Sharma stated that the police are conducting continuous raids to curb illegal liquor trade in the area.
Sikar: Police Crack Down on Cyber Fraudsters
In Sikar, police have detained two individuals involved in online fraud cases. The accused allegedly duped several people through fake social media profiles and investment scams.
According to SP Karan Sharma, digital evidence and multiple mobile phones have been seized. The police are coordinating with cyber experts to identify other members of the racket.
Dausa: Government School Students to Get Free Tablets
The Rajasthan government has announced free tablets for students of government schools in Dausa district. The initiative aims to promote digital learning and access to online education.
According to Education Minister Madan Dilawar, students from Class 9 to 12 will receive tablets preloaded with e-learning material and digital textbooks.
