A shocking incident took place in Alwar district of Rajasthan, where a businessman was assaulted and robbed inside a hotel room. The attackers allegedly beat the victim, took his belongings, and fled the scene. The police have arrested two suspects in connection with the case and are interrogating them.
Incident Details
According to police, the incident occurred late Tuesday night in a hotel located in the Sadar police station area of Alwar. The victim, a businessman from Bharatpur, had come to Alwar for work and checked into the hotel. Later that night, two men allegedly entered his room on the pretext of a meeting, attacked him, and looted cash and valuables.
The victim somehow managed to escape and informed the hotel staff, who immediately called the police. The police reached the spot, recorded the victim’s statement, and launched a search for the accused.
Police Investigation
The police initiated an investigation based on the victim’s complaint and CCTV footage from the hotel. Within hours, the police identified the two accused and arrested them from a nearby area. During questioning, the suspects reportedly confessed to the crime.
The police also recovered some stolen items and are verifying whether the accused are involved in other similar cases in Alwar or nearby districts.

According to Alwar Superintendent of Police (SP) Anil Kumar and Station House Officer (SHO) Rajesh Meena, the prompt response of the police team led to the quick arrest of the accused. They stated that the investigation is ongoing and strict action will be taken.
Police have also issued safety guidelines to hotels in the city, directing them to ensure guest verification and to enhance surveillance through CCTV cameras.
