New Delhi, February 7, 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the operational hours of its call centre to ensure greater convenience, accessibility and timely assistance for candidates during the ongoing application process.
The call centre will remain operational every day—including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays—until the last date for submission of application forms for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2026 and Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Examination 2026. It will function in two shifts from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, enabling candidates to seek support even beyond regular working hours.
To further enhance applicant experience, UPSC has also doubled the call centre’s capacity, significantly reducing waiting time for candidates seeking information or guidance related to the application process and examination queries.
UPSC Chairman Dr. Ajay Kumar reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to candidate convenience, stating that the extended operational hours form part of broader measures aimed at ensuring seamless assistance. He emphasized that these efforts are designed to provide timely support and ensure all necessary help is readily available to applicants.
