IIM Raipur successfully conducted a 2-Day Workshop on “Qualitative Research Analysis and Writing”, organized by the Marketing Management Area in collaboration with the Research Office.
Held on 14th–15th November 2025, the workshop brought together scholars and faculty members to strengthen their understanding of qualitative research methodologies and enhance their academic writing capabilities.
Conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Tanvi Gupta, Assistant Professor of Marketing at IIM Ahmedabad and a distinguished semiotician, her sessions explored key aspects of theorizing in qualitative research, differences from positivist approaches, and practical strategies for crafting clear, structured academic writing. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises on outlining, reverse outlining, paragraph structuring, voice, and overcoming emotional barriers to writing.
The workshop reaffirmed IIM Raipur’s commitment to fostering high-quality research and supporting scholars in advancing their academic and writing excellence.
