Jaipur/Dholpur, March 19, 2026: The Jawahar Singh Bedham, Minister of State for Home and District In-charge Minister of Dholpur, said that the Rajasthan Budget 2026–27 lays the foundation for comprehensive and inclusive development in the district.
Addressing a press conference at the Dholpur Collectorate, he outlined key state-level and district-specific announcements, emphasizing balanced growth and last-mile delivery.
Budget Focus: Inclusive and Antyodaya-Centric Development
The minister highlighted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the budget is designed to:
Promote equitable and long-term development
Focus on women, youth, farmers, labourers, and marginalized communities
Align with the principle of Antyodaya—uplifting the last person in society
‘Developed Village-Ward Campaign’ to Accelerate Grassroots Growth
A key highlight is the launch of the “Developed Village-Ward Campaign”, aimed at strengthening infrastructure and governance at the grassroots level.
Key objectives:
Improve access to drinking water, sanitation, roads, electricity, healthcare, and education
Ensure effective implementation of welfare schemes
Enhance overall quality of life in rural and urban areas
Gram Sabha and Ward Sabha meetings are scheduled for March 20, 2026, to drive local participation and planning.
Vision 2047: Linking State Growth to National Goals
The minister emphasized that achieving the vision of a Developed India by 2047 depends on building a Developed Rajasthan, urging collective efforts from citizens and administration.
Focus on Transparency, Surveys, and Local Planning
To ensure effective execution:
Village and ward-level surveys will assess development needs
Customized micro-level action plans will be prepared
Implementation will prioritize transparency, accountability, and public participation
Anti-Drug Campaign and Law Enforcement Strengthening
Highlighting social challenges, Bedham spoke about the “Nasha Mukt Dholpur” campaign, warning against the long-term impact of substance abuse on youth and society.
Key measures include:
Formation of an Anti-Narcotics Task Force
Creation of 237 new posts at police stations and outposts
Strengthened action against illegal drug trade.
